Hi Everyone I'm back from
V FESTIVAL!!
I was going to blog when i was there but i was just on the go doing something all the time and i also thought it would be nicer to put it altogether instead on different pages!
We left very early in the morning on Friday and made our way to Chelmsford, Essex!
We got stuck in a lot of V Festival traffic but we had a little party in the traffic blaring out the tunes!!
When we got there it took us aggggesss to unload the car and drag it to the field where we could pitch our tent. Me and the girls did very well putting up the tent , we were chuffed with ourselves.
So we had a little chill on Friday as no acts are on on that day its pretty much just a chill out or Party! We had a nice little BBQ too Yummy!!
We had a little explore of the Fairgrounds and Arena sites to get our bearings especially trying to seek out the cleanest toilets!!
On the Saturday we woke from a very lumpy and uncomfortable nights sleep and got ourselves ready for the day ahead.
We bought a lanyard with all the acts and the times on and the first act came on at midday!
The sun was definatly shining on us and already looking a bit pink we walked down to the Arenas to see the first act which was
ANGEL who's best known for the song Wonderful. He was really good and got everyone dancing.
We then saw Cover Drive, Emeli Sande and Wretch 32. Wretch 32 absolutely packed out the smaller arena stage and had people dancing outside! he even got Ed Sheeran on to collaborate.
LABRINTH COME IN!!
Labrinth was amazing! we were dancing the whole time especially to his song EARTHQUAKE!
That song had everyone up and moving!!
We saw a little bit of Rizzle kicks before we moved onto where EXAMPLE! was playing.
EXAMPLE is my friend Megan's favourite! One of her husbands she says!!
Example was incredible had such a good atmosphere! We moved back to the smaller arena to catch the last bit of Gossip and then PROFESSOR GREEN!
Professor green was joined on stage by Emeli Sande to sing Read all about it which made it epic!
ED SHEERAN AND DAVID GUETTA where headlining. One was definatly better than the other.
David guetta was very poor in my view he played very random songs and took to long to get into his hits!
Ed sheeran on the other hand was fantastic, i would've enjoyed it more if i hadn't of got Heat stroke which weirdly was making my hands hurt!
On the Sunday we got up early to make sure we were at the arena for one of my favourite bands
LAWSON!
They were really good and i think they deserved a bigger crowd than what they got!
We then saw Stooshe and DJ Fresh!
DJ FRESH tore the place apart he was incredible he had everyone dancing even the people that weren't a fan of his genre of music could join in with the Party!!
MADNESS, TOM JONES and TINIE TEMPAH! were on the main V arena.
Tinie tempah had everyone singing the lyrics and really got everyone involved! Loved it!!
We watched SNOW PATROL and THE KILLERS who were both good and we caught the last part of LMFAO who stood in for the poorly NICKI MINAJ!
Unfortunately because of so many great headliners i didn't get to see one act that i was gutted to miss and that was NERO!! Will have to see them some other time :-)!!
We had a wicked time at V and i cant wait to go again next year!!:-)
Will do a post tomorrow about some more Kukee jewelerry i got courteous of my lovely boyfriend :-)
